FAQ

Straight answers, before you ask

Everything people usually want to know before the first call — costs, timelines, ownership, and what happens after launch. If your question isn't here, the contact form takes thirty seconds.

What does a website cost?

Every project gets a fixed quote after a free 30-minute discovery call — one number, approved before any work starts, and that's the number you pay. Cost depends on scope: page count, copywriting needs, integrations and automation. See the Pricing page for typical ranges, and remember the quote is the contract: no hourly surprises, no scope-creep invoices.

How long does it take?

Most websites launch two to four weeks from kickoff. Automation projects often ship their first working workflow within the first week. The exact timeline is part of your fixed quote, and you'll see progress weekly — work in your actual browser, not slide decks.

Who owns the website?

You do — completely, from day one. Domain, hosting, code, content and every account are registered in your name. If we ever part ways, everything keeps working and nothing is held hostage. We think anything else is a ransom model, not a service.

I already have a website. Can you improve it instead of rebuilding?

Sometimes, and we'll tell you honestly which it is. If your current site has good bones, we'll quote targeted fixes — speed, lead capture, copy. If it's built on a creaking page-builder stack, a rebuild is usually cheaper than archaeology, and we'll show you why in plain language before you decide.

Do I need to write the content myself?

No. Copy guidance is part of every build: we draft headlines and page copy around how your customers decide, and you correct the facts. You know your business; we know what makes visitors reach out. The combination beats either of us alone.

What tools do you build automations on?

Wherever possible, the ones you already pay for — your email, calendar, invoicing and CRM tools. We're not loyal to any vendor and we don't resell software. Where something new is genuinely needed, we'll recommend the boring, reliable option and set it up in your accounts, not ours.

Will my site rank on Google?

We ship every site with the foundations search engines reward: fast loads, semantic structure, metadata, sitemaps and copy aimed at what customers actually search. What we won't do is promise a specific ranking — anyone who guarantees position one is selling something. We build the conditions for ranking and measure inquiries, not just traffic.

What happens after launch?

Your call. Some clients take the handover walkthrough and run everything themselves — it's yours, after all. Most join a care plan: updates, backups, monitoring, content changes by email, and a monthly note on what we'd improve next. No lock-in either way.

Do we need to meet in person?

No. The whole process is built to work remotely: a video call to start, work you review in your own browser each week, and email for everything else. Plenty of clients never meet us face to face — and the fixed quote, the weekly check-ins and the ownership guarantee work exactly the same wherever you are.

What if I just need something small?

Ask anyway. Small, well-defined jobs — a landing page, one automation, a speed fix — are often the best way to find out how we work. If it's genuinely not worth hiring us for, we'll say so and point you at the DIY route.

What do you need from me to start?

Thirty minutes for the discovery call and honest answers about your business and where the hours go. After that: feedback at weekly check-ins and the facts for your copy. We deliberately keep your homework light — you have a business to run.

Why are there no testimonials on this site yet?

Because we don't invent them. Client quotes and case studies are published here only when they're real, named and verifiable. If you'd like references while the first batch is being written up, ask — we'd rather connect you with a real client than paste a stock photo over a fake quote.
