Care plans

The unglamorous part, handled

Three plans, one ladder — each one is the plan below it plus something you can name. Care is the plumbing: hosting, backups, updates and monitoring, so the site you paid for is still fast and still online in three years. Care Plus puts it on a same business day clock and keeps its security current as new flaws are announced. Care Complete adds the work that keeps it found and improving.

Care

Keeps the site live, fast and current. Attaches to any build.

$99/ month

Billed monthly, plus 3% MD sales tax — cancel with 30 days’ notice

  • Hosting and a backup every day with the padlock that shows visitors your site is secure
  • Security and software updates
  • Uptime monitoring so an outage reaches us the moment it happens rather than waiting for someone to notice
  • A dependency and deprecation review every quarter the software your site runs on goes stale quietly — we check what has fallen behind, what the framework has deprecated, and whether an upgrade cost you speed, with the regressions fixed on the plan
  • Thirty minutes of content edits a month by email, handled by the next business day

Care is plumbing, not a product. It keeps what you own running.

Why Care exists

A website is a running system, not a finished object.

Left alone, a site quietly stops working
Software underneath it needs updating, certificates expire, hosts have bad days, and the small content change you meant to make in March is still sitting there in November. The usual small-business answer — “someone in the office owns the website” — means in practice that nobody does.
Care makes it somebody’s actual job
Hosting, security and a daily backup run in the background. Software updates get applied. And the site is watched around the clock, so if it goes down at midnight we get the alert, not you. The changes you’d otherwise put off get done by email, inside the monthly allowance — you ask, it ships.
An upgrade can make a site worse without anyone noticing
The software underneath a website moves whether you touch it or not. A framework ships a new major version, the old way of doing something gets deprecated, and a routine update leaves behind a slower page and code that works today and won’t in a year. None of it announces itself — the site looks identical, and the first real sign is usually someone mentioning months later that it feels sluggish. Once a quarter we go through what your site is actually built on: what has fallen behind, what has been deprecated, and whether anything got slower since the last look. Regressions — what broke or what went stale — we fix on the plan. A full migration to a new major version is a project and we’d quote it, but you’d hear about it from us in a quarterly review rather than from a customer who couldn’t load the page.
Priced like plumbing, because that is what it is
Care is plumbing, not a product. It keeps what you own running. We’re deliberately not trying to make margin here. Care exists so the thing you bought keeps working, and so you never have to think about the words “SSL certificate” again.
Cancel and you keep the domain, the code and the content
Your domain, code and content are in your name from day one. Care is what hosts them, and it comes with every build unless you’d rather host the site yourself — which you’re welcome to do; it’s custom code, not a locked platform, and it runs anywhere. What stops when you cancel is our hosting, the backups and the monitoring, and we’ll hand over a site that works. Plenty of website subscriptions delete your site when you stop paying, or hold the code for three years. That’s not what this is.

Care Plus

The same plumbing, on a faster clock and actively defended — for sites where a day of waiting costs money and a published flaw cannot wait for the next update round.

$199/ month

Billed monthly, plus 3% MD sales tax — cancel with 30 days’ notice

  • Everything in Care, on a same business day response a stated commitment rather than a target, with your edits ahead of standard Care work in the queue
  • Sixty minutes of content edits a month by email
  • Security patched on announcement, not on a cycle when a flaw is published in something your site runs on, it is fixed that day rather than in the next update round
  • File-integrity monitoring if what is deployed stops matching what we deployed, that raises an alarm rather than waiting for somebody to notice
  • The firewall in front of your site kept current as attack patterns change
  • A vulnerability scan every week against the live site, and anything it finds fixed on the plan
  • Your security headers, encryption and cookies held to that floor on every change we ship checked before it goes out, so a change can't quietly undo what the site shipped with

Care Plus is Care on a faster clock, with the security your site shipped with kept current as new flaws are announced. If next business day is fine and you do not need the site watched that closely, Care is the right buy.

What Care Plus adds

Watched more closely, and answered the same day.

A day of waiting is not always free
Care answers by the next business day, which is the right speed for most of what a website needs. It is the wrong speed for a wrong phone number on your contact page, a price that just changed, or the service you stopped offering last week — the things that are costing you money for every hour they stay up. Care Plus commits to the same business day, puts your work ahead of standard Care work in the queue, and doubles the monthly edit allowance to sixty minutes.
Security you do not have to decide about twice
Every site we build ships secured — the headers, the encryption, the cookie handling and the keys are done before it goes live, and that is not an upgrade. What Care Plus adds is keeping it true: a flaw published in something your site runs on is patched that day rather than at the next update round, the live site is scanned every week, the firewall in front of it is kept current, and the headers are held to that same floor on every change we ship, so a change can't quietly undo what the site shipped with. We used to sell this as its own plan. Almost nobody bought it, because a separate security plan asks you to make a second decision about a risk you do not believe you have — and the businesses that most need it are exactly the ones who say no.
It says nothing about being found — that is the plan above
Care Plus is Care on a faster clock with the security kept current. It does not write pages, it does not send a report, and it makes no claim about your rankings. If what you want is the site working harder rather than the site being watched harder, Care Complete is the one to read.

Care Complete

Keeps the site found and improving, not just running and defended — the technical SEO, the numbers behind it, and a quarterly look at what to do next.

$349/ month

Billed monthly, plus 3% MD sales tax — cancel with 30 days’ notice

  • Everything in Care Plus on the same business day response, with the security kept current
  • Technical SEO upkeep schema, sitemaps, broken links and speed regressions caught and fixed before they cost you rankings — the same structure AI assistants read before recommending anyone
  • A monthly report in plain language how many people came, which pages they landed on, how many sent the form and how many tapped to call
  • A security section in that report what got blocked, what got patched, and anything that needs a decision from you
  • A conversion review each quarter of whichever page is bringing you the most traffic
  • A written incident runbook who does what, in what order, with the phone numbers already in it — so the worst morning of the year is not also the one you improvise
  • A quarterly access review every account that can reach the site, the hosting and the code, re-checked and cut back to who actually needs it, with the leavers found

Care Complete works on the site itself — the pages, the code and the numbers behind them. The monthly edit allowance covers changes to pages you already have. A new or rewritten page is a separate piece of work and is quoted at the add-on rate — no plan includes one.

When Care Complete is the right one

For a site that is meant to bring in work, not only to exist and stay standing.

Sites decay in ways nobody in the office ever sees
A page that got slower after an image went up, a link that started 404ing when a service was renamed, a sitemap that stopped listing half the site, structured data that broke when Google changed what it wanted. None of it announces itself. All of it costs you positions.
It shows its work every month, in plain language
Care Complete reports every month: how many people came, which pages they landed on, how many sent the form and how many tapped to call — plus what got blocked and what got patched. Once a quarter we take whichever page is pulling the most traffic and make it better at asking for the job. No jargon, and if the month was quiet we say the month was quiet.
We hold no keys to accounts you own
All of it happens on the site we host, measured with the analytics we wire into every build — which stay registered in your name, with read-only access for us. Care Complete asks for no standing access to your Google Business Profile or your directory accounts: holding the keys to accounts you own is a liability we've decided not to carry, and it isn't where this plan earns its money anyway.
New pages are not in the plan, and that is deliberate
A new or rewritten page is $225 on the add-on menu, bought when you want one. It used to be folded into the plan — a page a quarter here, one a month above — and taking it out is most of why these cards got shorter. Two reasons: a page written on a schedule is not cheaper to write than one written when you actually need it, so folding it in was never a discount; and a plan that quietly obliges us to produce twelve pages a year is a plan we would have to talk you out of on a busy month. Ask for a page when there is a page worth writing.

Being straight with you

What none of the plans includes

Plenty of agencies bundle these in and quietly hope you never use them. We’d rather tell you where the line is.

Redesigns, and pages beyond the included one

Content edits are small changes to what exists, and a plan's included page is one page — a quarter on Care Plus, a month on Care Complete. A redesign, or more pages than that, gets quoted separately.

Ad spend or ad management

Care Plus and Care Complete work on the site we host for you. Paid ads are a different job with a different budget, and we'll tell you honestly if that's what you need.

Talk it through

Two caveats we would rather state than have you discover. The call figure counts people who tapped your number on the site — that is a strong signal and it is not the same as a connected call, and it cannot see someone who reads your number on a desktop and dials it from their phone. And the report is written from the analytics on your own site, so it tells you what visitors did, not what they typed into Google to find you.

Prices here are before tax. Maryland charges 3% sales and use tax on web and IT services, and a monthly plan is taxed every month rather than once at signup — so Care at $99 a month reaches your invoice at $101.97. It appears as its own line rather than folded into the price, so you can always see what is our fee and what is tax. If your organisation holds a Maryland sales and use tax exemption certificate, send us the number and we'll apply it.
